My Disney World Tips and Favourites

I get asked lots and lots about Disney recommendations and tips and I could honestly talk about it for hours and hours. We are a Disney obsessed family and I have spent hours and hours over the last few years researching and planning and finding really helpful tips that I can share with others and fingers crossed I can help someone plan the perfect trip. I am in no way endorsed by Disney, the information in the blog is based on all the best things that we found made our holidays so magical.

The more you plan before hand, pre-booking restaurants, events and getting an organised schedule will allow you to enjoy the whole holiday without disappointment. You can pop on your summer clothes and just check your planned itinerary on your Disney app in the morning and off you go.

Minnie Van service is available, if you don’t hire a car it’s a great service if you need a quick trip back to hotel when bus and other transport queues are large

Epcot cut through to the Boardwalk by France

Car Hire Centre Close to Magic Kingdom- They will Collect you from your Hotel to go pick up your car hire if you hire during your stay rather than from the start. You can then return to them or straight to the airport…this is amazing.

Orlando Grocery Express is one of the Supermarket Delivery Services you can arrange to have necessity items for your trip delivered to the hotel like water, fruit etc…

Kingdom Strollers is a company that hires out single and double buggies to save you bringing one on the flight if your little one doesn’t usually need one at home. I would strongly recommend you either bring or hire a buggy for the children as you can walk miles and miles each day. My eldest is six and a half and even she needed to rest when it was time to watch the fireworks.

Fast Pass is your most valuable Tool!! If you are staying in a Disney hotel you will be able to book your favourite rides 60 days before you arrive and 30 days prior if you’re not staying in a Disney Resort. Having a fast pass will save hours of queuing.

Rider switch is a system where one adult can request a ticket for the other adult standing with the children not going on the ride to go on when the other adult comes off to switch places. The other adult can then present the ticket and join the fast pass queue. This also saved hours of queuing. The rider switch ticket allows up to three other people to go on again. The people manning the ride will need to see the other adult with the children before they will issue a rider switch ticket. They can then go and grab an Ice Cream while waiting for the others to come off the ride. This was awesome.

This process allows you to be very clever with your fast passes as you don’t need to book the all the adults on the same rides. Genius.

And the best tip is to have FUN, embrace the MAGIC and treat yourself to some Minnie Ears, the selection is amazing.
